TenderHunter NI

The process

How TenderHunter NI works

A repeatable sequence: understand your company, watch official sources, qualify what appears, then help you prepare. You decide. You submit.

  1. 01

    Tell us about your business

Services you actually deliver, where you work, typical contract size, insurance, accreditations, and the evidence you already hold. We would rather have a short, accurate picture than a polished one.

  2. 02

    We build your tender profile

That information becomes a working profile: in-scope services, out-of-scope work, geography, capacity, and known gaps. It is the yardstick every opportunity is measured against.

  3. 03

    We hunt official sources

We search live public-sector notices. We prefer official portals over aggregator sites, and we treat expired or unverified notices as closed until they can be live-checked.

  4. 04

    You receive qualified opportunities

You see why a contract fits, what might block it, and a recommended next action — bid, do not bid, or review first. You are not handed a raw dump of every notice published that week.

  5. 05

You decide. We help you prepare.

You remain the bidder. We help you plan and draft. If you want a structured check of the finished pack, the optional £250 final review is there. We do not submit, sign, or contact the buyer for you.

Sources we use

We prefer official publications over commercial aggregator sites. If a notice cannot be live-verified, we do not treat it as open.

eTendersNI

The core Northern Ireland portal for public-sector opportunities. A primary source, not an afterthought.

Department of Finance / CPD

Central procurement pipelines and related notices, used where they are the official route.

Find a Tender / CDP

UK-wide notices that still matter to NI suppliers — watched, then filtered against your geography and capacity.

Official council pages

Local authority procurement pages, when they publish opportunities or pipelines outside the main portals.

Your tender profile

The profile is the yardstick. We would rather start with gaps labelled than fill them with assumptions. If a fact is unknown, it stays unknown until you provide it.

  • Who you are: legal name, structure, where you operate
  • What you actually deliver — and what you do not
  • Contract sizes you can service, and sizes that waste your time
  • Insurance, accreditations and policies you can evidence
  • Case studies and previous bids you are willing to share

How scoring is used

Scores cover service match, mandatory eligibility, evidence, capacity, insurance and accreditations, geography, commercial fit, and deadline readiness. They describe fit. They do not forecast an award.

Any example score you see on this website is illustrative. A confirmed mandatory failure always becomes do not bid.

Read the illustrative score on the homepage for the full breakdown.

What we never do

  • Submit a tender, click accept, or make a legal declaration.
  • Invent case studies, prices or social-value commitments.
  • Contact the buyer or negotiate on your behalf.
  • Mix one company’s information with another’s.
